Transportation Options for Individual Volunteers
If you want to volunteer and don’t have access to a car, you can consider the following transportation options.
Transportation Options for Group Projects
If you are organizing a group volunteer project, you can consider the following transportation options.
- Carpool with friends who have cars!
- Reserve a WeCar through WU's car sharing program. Through the Community Service Office's WeCar Fund, you can apply for full funding to cover the fees!
- Travel by foot, WU shuttle, or Metro. You can search our St. Louis non-profit agency database for agencies accessible without a car, or for step-by-step driving, MetroLink, or MetroBus directions.
Don't forget to use your U-Pass for free transportation on MetroLink and MetroBus!
- Take advantage of CS40’s rental car (South Forty residents only).
- Rent a car or van from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which offers special rates for the WU community. For more information, contact their Ladue office (863-6886) and be sure to mention the WU rates. If you plan to rent a vehicle for your student group through your Student Union budget, please contact the SU Business Manager (Janice Warren, 935-5911) in the SU office for polices, procedures, and rates for student group rentals.
