Mission Statement To protect and defend civil liberties. The ACLU is the nation's foremost advocate of individual rights, litigating, legislating, and engaging in public education activities on a broad array of issues affecting civil rights and individual freedom in the United States. |
Volunteer Opportunities Mailings, newsletters, staffing our booth at community festivals, marching to support pro-civil rights events or organizations, attending and helping at speaking events or campus activities, office work, filing, man the phone, research cases, and review civil liberties complaints. |
