Mission Statement
AARP is a nonprofit membership organization of people 50 and older, dedicated to addressing their needs and interests. We seek to enhance the quality of life for all by promoting independence, dignity and purpose through education, advocacy and service. |
Volunteer Opportunities
Tax counselors receive free tax training and become IRS certified by passing the IRS exam. They help customers one-on-one at tax sites in their area. They prepare personal tax returns for low to middle income clients, with special attention to those over 60. |
