Mission Statement
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. We do this through services that are consistent with the congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement
Volunteer Opportunities
The American Red Cross is currently looking for volunteers for data entry, telerecruiting, to assist the marketing department, blood drive assistants, center assistants, distribution drivers (must be 25)and warehouse assistants (Warson facility).
Pre-Requisites
A Red Cross volunteer is an individual who, beyond the responsiblities of paid employeement, freely and without expectation or receipt of compensation and for personal, humanitarian or charitable reasons, contributes time and service to assist the American Red Cross in the accomplishment of the mission. Individual must be able to work well with others, have a friendly personality and be able to handle confidentiality in a professional manner.
