Mission Statement
To facilitate adults becoming better family members, workers, and/or community participants by providing quality educational services. We provide instruction in GED perparation, literacy, ESOL, family literacy, work readiness, and life skills.
Volunteer Opportunities
Presentations on life/work/health skills topics: program or organization assistance at selected sites, individual tutoring with literacy or ESOL students, general class assistance, guest speaker, special projects support, clerical, organizational support work simulation, family literacy or special project sites, adopt-a-center, curriculum development.
Pre-Requisites
Attend 5-hour training session. This training is accessible by WU shuttle, but the tutoring locations vary within the city.
