Mission Statement	The APA is a non-profit agency dedicated to bringing pets and people together. APA of MO provides pet adoption to responsible owners, shelter to lost and abandoned animals, and works to reduce pet overpopulations.

Volunteer Opportunities	Vounteers can assist with animal care, Pet Reach (volunteers visit nursing homes and children's homes with their own approved pets), humane education, special events, providing foster care and adoption assistance, office support.
Prerequisites	Attend a volunteer orientation. Interview with Director of Volunteer Services. Attend volunteer training.
