Guidelines for calendar submissions for the Monday e-Record

  1. Events must be open to the general WUSTL community and held in a location that accommodates at least 75 people. (Think big!) The e-Record will not publish events or activities only open to members of a particular student organization.
  2. Calendar copy for student events must be approved and submitted by Jill Carnaghi, Julie Thornton or Stephanie Kurtzman in. Please get your information to one of them as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday evening/early Thursday morning.
  3. The deadline for submissions to the Monday e-Record calendar is the Thursday before publication. Please note: submission by deadline does not guarantee inclusion in the Monday e-Record calendar. The volume and general interest of submissions determine what is included.
  4. To be considered for inclusion in the calendar, please use the following format: Time, Date, Location, Event title; What is happening or who is speaking; contact number and number for more information.

Guidelines for General Monday e-Record submissions

  1. General copy to be included in the Monday e-Record must be submitted by the Tuesday before publication.
  2. FYI: Any photos that will accompany copy for the Monday e-Record will be assigned by beat writers. This applies to stories created specifically for the Monday e-Record.
  3. The Monday e-Record is completed by close of business the Friday before publication and is sent to the servers on Friday night.
  4. The Monday e-Record editor reserves the right to edit all copy for space and/or quality concerns.
