Group Description
The mission of Feed St. Louis is to use food as a tool to end hunger. Our approach integrates active service with homelessness and malnutrition awareness.
Feed St. Louis has three main components:

Food Salvage: Monday through Thursday we take leftover food from Center Court to homeless shelters in the area. On average, we bring seventy meals each night to people in need.
Food Preparation: On Sundays we travel to Centenary Methodist Church in downtown St. Louis to cook and serve dinner to over two hundred homeless men, women and children.
Awareness: We run awareness programs and special events throughout the year. The showcase event is Homelessness Awareness Week, which is from November 12th-17th. The Week includes a Homelessness Panel, movie night, service event and more. Feed St. Louis collaborates with other anti-poverty groups at Washington University to organize this event.
